This is out of my usual blog, but I’d like to share this with the folks on Facebook who are addicted to Bejeweled Blitz. Yeah, theres a cheat/hack for it. Technically it isn’t illegal, you don’t type in cheat codes or anything, you just slow down the game using some memory hack. Enough of the intro, let me get to the point, first and foremost get yourselves CheatEngine 5.5. Here are the steps to get it running.
1) Install Cheat Engine 5.5
2) Run it.
3) Click on the icon circled in red.
4) When the Process List window shows, click on ‘Windows List’
5) Select ‘Bejewled Blitz for Facebook’ and ‘Open’. If you are using FireFox or IE and have multiple tabs open, be sure to have your ‘Bejeweled Blitz’ tab selected.
6) Click on the ‘Enable Speedhack’ checkbox, and play around with the speed. To slower down the game, simply reduce from 1.0 to 0.5 or 0.2. The lower the number, the slower the game runs.
** Once you’re done using it be sure to close the application as it will tend to slow down any other Flash based applications.
