My apologies for my lack of updates on this blog. It’s been a very busy few months for me.
This is Part 2 of Travel Log. On our second day in Osaka, we headed towards Universal Studios!! Now I’ve never been to the other Universal Studios but being a film buff, this was perhaps one of the best damned theme parks ever!! As opposed to the American counter part, all rides in Universal Studios Osaka were in Japanese. (-.-’). Now I only know basic Japanese, so getting on rides which required you to understand what on earth was going on was definitely a tad pain in the butt.

All rides were excellent despite them being in Japanese, to top it all off the gift shops after each rides sold the most amazing licensed merchandises ever! During our visit to Universal Studios, I managed to grab myself several Spidey t-shirts for me, my wife and the lil’ one as well as a Spidey mask just for kicks!! I won’t go in details on how the rides were like as it would be too much of a spoiler to those of you who intend on going to Universal Studios, but I can say that all the rides were EPIC! From the hair raising Jaws ride all through the nostalgic Back to The Future ride.

On May 2009, my family and I went on a trip to Japan. We used to live there some 20 years ago. Yamate, Yokohama was our home for 2 1/2 years. I still have great memories of back when I was a kid there. I will be writing more about our trip, but here are some snapshots of our first stop which was Osaka. We stayed at the Cross Hotel, which was smack in the middle of everything which made Osaka awesome. Neon lights light the night in Osaka!
